Reese Harwood is a sophomore from San Antonio, TX, majoring in Finance.
“HIH is going to be able to provide a lot to the SMU community as well as the Healthcare Finance sector. We will be able to educate and support our Analysts to fulfill their passion. We are going to be able to give back to our community as well through our donation to the Bob Smith Health Center and our scholarship fund focused towards those directly affected by Cancer just like Trey, Grant, and myself. I am really looking forward to all that's to come for HIH and this Exec Board”.

Trey Mainz
Trey Mainz is a sophomore from San Antonio, TX, majoring in Finance with a minor in Philosophy.
“Developing HIH with 3 of my best friends has taught me much about myself and the healthcare finance sector. I look forward to bringing a similar experience to SMU students. Creating more opportunities for driven SMU students to gain real-world experience and lifelong connections is one of my main motivations in constructing this organization. On top of this, I feel that our donation to the Bob Smith Health Center and our scholarship to provide funding for those affected by Cancer will inspire and excite future members of HIH”.

Jack Hartmeier
Jack Hartmeier is a junior from Los Angeles, CA majoring in Finance and Data Science with a specialization from the Alternative Asset Management Center.
“HIH has been developed to fill a major gap within the SMU community, and I am so excited to see it excel and grow over the next few semesters. I believe that there is no better place in the SMU community to learn from peers and grow intellectually either as a general member or analyst, while also bettering our community through scholarship and donations to Bob Smith Health Center”.

Grant Offner
Grant Offner is a Junior from Saint Simons Island, GA, majoring in Finance and Physics with a minor in Mathematics.
“Working with the HIH team has been such a rewarding experience. From meeting and working with big names in Healthcare Finance to shaping our training program, these are all things I never thought I would do at SMU. I believe what we are doing with HIH is extraordinary, as—for the first time—students outside of Finance and Economics can now uniquely engage with this field while giving back to SMU. I look forward to passing on all the knowledge I have built at SMU to our General Members, Analysts, and Portfolio Managers so that one day, they can take this organization further."
